24 million children may never go back to school again.

That means there will be 24 million children who are more likely to be exploited, abused or become trapped in a cycle of poverty and illiteracy. 24 million hopes and aspirations, quietly fading. 24 million children whose childhoods are being taken away by the effects of this pandemic.

United World Schools is determined to bring every child from the poorest areas of Cambodia, Nepal and Myanmar back to school; from providing essential PPE to keep all our schools safe, to working hand-in-hand with local communities to make sure that vulnerable children aren’t left behind as schools re-open.
