Chris Outram is the Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the OC&C Strategy Consultants partnership. He resigned from the Partnership on April 2021 but retains close links with the firm.

Having graduated from Birmingham University in 1972, he attended INSEAD Business School in 1976/7. Following business school, Chris’ career was primarily in the strategy consulting sector culminating in him co-founding in 1987 OC&C Strategy Consultants, which is one of the world’s premier specialist strategy consulting firm.

Chris has also Chaired three other organisations over the last ten years – a small but very high growth technology company, the U.K.’s leading eating disorders charity, as well as United World Schools which brings low cost education to  ‘un-reached’ children around the world. It now serves more than 45,000 children across three countries.

Chris has authored two books  and has a Double First Class degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Economics complemented by an MBA (with Distinction) from INSEAD Business School.
