Peter UptonPeter has been an advocate for girls education and equity and access for the last 20 years. He is the founder and Executive Director  of K2P2 an international educational consultancy that works on large scale donor contracts and education system reform. His clients have included the British Council, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the British Council, the SQA, Capita and KPMG amongst others. He has recently been advising on literacy projects in Egypt, Refugee Education in Bangladesh and Girls Education in Pakistan.
Peter was a senior Director with the British Council leading their global education programmes and was also Country Director in Pakistan, Nigeria, Thailand and regional director for South China. He has been a teacher and Principal of a large Community College and has won awards for his work in Diversity and education reform. He is a Court member of Edinburgh Napier University and is delighted to be supporting UWS in its mission.
